Gloria shares her time between supporting her husband Bryan's Garden Services business and painting. Their own family is now grown up but grandchildren add a further richness to their lives.

Gloria has painted since she was very young. Her first paintbrush was a tuft of her mother's red hair tied to a stick! The richness of her life has been her inspiration. She has worked and travelled quite widely, even living in Australia for a year.

She is proof that no formal qualifications in Art are necessary if, like her, you have a natural gift and a passion for painting.

Gloria is a talented artist and her real love of the natural world is echoed in her paintings of both wildlife studies and of landscapes. Whilst some subjects are extremely detailed and true to life, Gloria also has the ability to paint in an imaginative way, creating pictures depicting a variety of moods, some vibrant and full of colour, others more serene and peaceful.

Over the years Gloria has used a range of different painting media. She has developed her own style which suits her now preferred medium of acrylic. Her most recent pictures have included historic buildings from Sleaford, where she lives, a commission for a local Arts and Heritage Community project. Portraits from photographs are also a recent addition to the gallery.

Gloria's paintings have gone to collections as far afield as Australia and Singapore. She has exhibited locally, in Lincolnshire. All paintings and prints for sale can be mounted for you to have framed in your chosen style and posted to you via Recorded Delivery. Special limited edition prints can also be bought and through discussion these could be used to produce either greetings cards or transferred to other products, e.g.porcelain or calendars.

Please browse the gallery pages and feel free to contact Gloria if you are interested in further details.
